I had a great time in Rome, Italy during Spring Break! I was very happy with the hotel we stayed at, Hotel Ariston (www.hotelariston.it). We were able to have a nice breakfast at the hotel before heading out each day. It was exciting to get to see all of the famous sites that are in Rome. I found the food in Rome to also be very good – we had pizza several times that was delicious and we also ate at many nice restaurants for dinner which owned up to their high prices. One nice restaurant/bar we ate at was the Supper Club (http://www.supperclub.com) which is a very modern restaurant where you eat off of a large bed. We were unable to find many great bars in Rome until we went on a Pub Crawl one night. The pub crawl was well worth the 20 Euros it cost us as we got free beer/wine for an hour, free shots, and most important of all we were able to find out where some of the best bars are! Overall I was very happy with my trip to Rome and would definitely consider going back there again.

Spring Break Trip to Rome
April 4th, 2007Credit Cards to Use in Europe
March 20th, 2007Well, I am going on a trip to Rome, Italy for spring break. It will be my last spring break as a student so I am really looking forward to the trip. I’ve been doing some research as to what things to consider when traveling to Europe and I came across one thing that I found very important. I plan on using my credit card for the majority of my purchases – especially the hotel I am staying at (Hotel Ariston in Rome) which is my largest expense. I found out that many credit card issuers tack on a 1-3% extra charge when you use your card in Europe. Luckily I stumbled across this website: http://flyertalk.com/wiki/index.php/Credit/Debit/ATM_Cards_and_Foreign_Exchange
They have listed the various fees associated with the different card issuers. Now I know to make sure to charge all my expenses on my Capital One card because they are one of the very few to have no extra charges. Anyway – I thought I would share this information and I hope to update my site with some pictures next week while I am in Rome.
Big Money from PayPerPost!
March 5th, 2007PayperPost.com is now offering even higher payouts to those with blogs that have high traffic. If you are looking for another or new revenue stream for your website to generate be sure to check out their site here: blogs. I have been very happy with their quick payouts and the opportunities that are available. Simply check their site for opportunities that can relate to your blog and then “take them”. Once you take the opportunities you simply have to write a quick response to their product and post it to your website. If you happen to have many blogs with high Google PRs (page rank) then you should be sure to check out PayPerPost as soon as possible since they are having higher payouts everyday for popular blogs and those with high Google PR. Even if you only have a small amount of traffic to your blog PayPerPost can be very profitable. While this site does get high traffic some weeks, there are others that I have minimal traffic, however I am still able to receive a decent paycheck from this site alone using PayPerPost.com’s opportunities. Making some extra revenue using your blogs has never been easier that it is with PayPerPost.com so be sure you sign up if you are not already a member!
Wow
March 5th, 2007Well – it has been awhile since I made a post to my site. I was lazy for about a week and then I had the flu all of last week. Hopefully I’ll get around to posting some updates to the site throughout this week. -AUFordBoy
