Religion
I’d like to start out with my favorite quote: “Religions are all alike - founded upon fables and mythologies.” - Thomas Jefferson. I have recently had to deal with many of my friend’s religious beliefs. Friendships as well as relationships can be destroyed by religion - so wouldn’t the world be a better place without it? I believe the world has enough troubles as is without even looking at the thousands of conflicts caused by religion. I was raised Christian but never really saw what was so important about being a good Christain or believing in any religion for that matter. While I vaguely understand why so many people do believe in their religions, I just see a completely different “big picture”. All I am able to see is the corruption that seems to be everywhere when you mention religion. This is just a random rant that I felt like posting right now.
