I recently came across a great website that features hundreds of unsigned musicians. I have already found a few new artists that I really enjoy listening to and plan on using the site to find many more in the future. Take a look for yourself and visit this link to Acoustic Artists . This is just one section on the site of many genres that are available for you to browse through. I have increased my favorite play lists by taking the time to check out many of the artists featured on Unsigned.com and I recommend for you to do the same.Â
I have found that no matter what music genres you prefer to listen to, Unsigned.com has plenty of artists listed under each category. Stop listening to the same old bands and give some new artists a chance – you may surprise yourself and find some bands or artists that you like better than any others!

Spring Break Trip to Rome
April 4th, 2007 1 comment »I had a great time in Rome, Italy during Spring Break! I was very happy with the hotel we stayed at, Hotel Ariston (www.hotelariston.it). We were able to have a nice breakfast at the hotel before heading out each day. It was exciting to get to see all of the famous sites that are in Rome. I found the food in Rome to also be very good – we had pizza several times that was delicious and we also ate at many nice restaurants for dinner which owned up to their high prices. One nice restaurant/bar we ate at was the Supper Club (http://www.supperclub.com) which is a very modern restaurant where you eat off of a large bed. We were unable to find many great bars in Rome until we went on a Pub Crawl one night. The pub crawl was well worth the 20 Euros it cost us as we got free beer/wine for an hour, free shots, and most important of all we were able to find out where some of the best bars are! Overall I was very happy with my trip to Rome and would definitely consider going back there again.
Credit Cards to Use in Europe
March 20th, 2007 No comments »Well, I am going on a trip to Rome, Italy for spring break. It will be my last spring break as a student so I am really looking forward to the trip. I’ve been doing some research as to what things to consider when traveling to Europe and I came across one thing that I found very important. I plan on using my credit card for the majority of my purchases – especially the hotel I am staying at (Hotel Ariston in Rome) which is my largest expense. I found out that many credit card issuers tack on a 1-3% extra charge when you use your card in Europe. Luckily I stumbled across this website: http://flyertalk.com/wiki/index.php/Credit/Debit/ATM_Cards_and_Foreign_Exchange
They have listed the various fees associated with the different card issuers. Now I know to make sure to charge all my expenses on my Capital One card because they are one of the very few to have no extra charges. Anyway – I thought I would share this information and I hope to update my site with some pictures next week while I am in Rome.
